Our locally-elected school boards want to stay loyal to the community schools they help govern

Huge shout out to school boards all over the state that are passing resolutions to reject the education omnibus bill (see Taylor County's Resolution below; this is one of several that have passed recently). School boards in our communities want to make sure our public schools are strong. Their job is not to tax their neighbors - which this bill asks them to do - to make up for the money that will be drained away to private schools. The state should not force that burden on our community school boards. Our locally-elected school boards want to stay loyal to the community schools they help govern, because they know our kids are worthy of excellent public schools.

Urge your local school board to do what so many have already done; adopt a resolution rejecting SB 451 and once again stand 55 united!
