Savanna Lyons

Savanna Lyons is Co-Executive Director of West Virginia Citizen Action Group and WV Citizen Action Education Fund, and a steering committee member of the Kanawha County group Rise Up WV. She holds degrees in economics and environmental policy, and has worked in rural community development and advocacy for 12 years.

Gary Zuckett

Gary Zuckett is co-executive director of West Virginia Citizen Action Group. He's been a people-centered public policy advocate for the past 25 years.

Kendra Huard Fershee

Kendra Huard Fershee lives in Morgantown, where she teaches family law, professional responsibility, and other courses at West Virginia University College of Law. In 2018, she was the Democratic Nominee for Congress in the West Virginia First District.

Tina Gray-Russell

Tina Gray-Russel isaVeteran, Teacher, Social Worker, and Activist, currently working with different non—profit organizations to address racial, gender, and socioeconomic disparities in her community.

Austin David Susman

Austin David Susman was born and raised in Charleston WV, and other than a short out of state internship, and a few months in New York City after college, has lived in the WV his whole life. He studied Communication & New Media at Shepherd University in the Eastern Panhandle and is now back in Charleston putting those skills to work to make a difference in the Mountain State.
